Hi, I have a question I never thought about but my cousin has postcards with pictures of Steam Locomotives. Is there any way you can tell what railroad the locomotive belongs to just by the number on the cab?
My first impression is no. Just like any sports team can use numbers from another team. If anyone knows this to be true or not. I would appreciate it. I and my cousin are waiting to hear. Thanks a lot. Joe
