We've been researching why some locomotives (so far just in Indonesia) displayed their wheel arrangements without hyphens (e.g. 042T instead of 0-4-2T). Turns out the the source material we were provided had used hexadecimal character 0xAD instead of 0x2D. Looks perfectly normal when viewed in the database management software. Unfortunately 0xAD is a non-printable character as far as the web browser is concerned. So....in any case, I went through and manually edited the records for about 120 locomotives. Sorry that it took me so long to figure it out.
